Thessélias

Thessélias is a country in the continent of Talazic, bordered by Gaulvista to the west, the Tors to the southwest, Kroshesket to the north, Adjuskimavo to the northeast, and Jeltir to the southeast. Its capital is Endellion, built in the canopies of Valendar, Thessélias's second-largest forest. Endellion also serves as the seat of the king, currently Celwë Nerenia.
The vast majority of the population of Thessélias, about 95%, are elves (92% wood elves, 8% high elves), with the other 5% comprised of small villages of halflings, gnomes, and humans, as well as several hidden firbolg colonies.

History

In the late 3rd millennium of the Era of Cloud, evidence suggests a great many exploratory voyages to Talazic from Quellevore. The area directly to the north of the Feywood was quickly claimed, becoming the kingdom of Gaulvista. For some time Gaulvista was almost an exclusively elf-ruled kingdom, with the native humans of Talazic always ranked socially beneath the elves. It was not for many human generations that the humans began to push back, and after a few more generations of rebellion, a large portion of the elves of Gaulvista migrated east. Working together with the elven nomads and small communities found everywhere in the Realm of the Three Forests, they founded an elven kingdom, where they could live with the ideals their parents had brought from Quellevore. The kingdom of Thessélias was officially established in EC 4143.
