King Celwë Nerenia
Celwë Nerenia is the current king of Thessélias. He was born Teyl Nerenia in 704 to King Reyliss and Queen Dilathielle. He took up the throne of Thessélias in EL 865, ten years after marrying his beloved, the lady Tinuall of Saender. His son, Bereth, was born in 879, and in 997 moved with his new wife to the city of Geldereth. Celwë's second child, his daughter Ella, was born in 930 and still resides in Endellion.
Celwë had one sister, called Bree, younger by 40 years, who left home to go adventuring at the age of 85, in the year 829. She has not been heard from since and it is widely assumed that she perished long ago, but Celwë still has an active decree offering a generous reward to anyone who has information on her whereabouts.
Celwë is regarded as a generous and benevolent king, slow to anger—in some of his subjects' eyes, far too slow. However, he has successfully led his people through two significant wars in his time on the throne and has worked hard to address the civil unrest arising in the last decade due to an influx of human immigrants from the northeast and concerns over the influence they may have on the Thesséliasell culture and economy.
