Pale Stone Inn
The Pale Stone Inn is an inn in Mantlemine's northern Key District run by Rupee Teardronsh. It has a goblin bellboy named Grinkle Stinkle, who is secretly a member of The Crimson Knives. Being in the northern Key District, the Pale Stone Inn pays a business fine to The Crimson Knives. Rupee owns a black cat named Groovy who hunts rats on the premises.
Purpose / Function
To provide a place for travelers to rest in an otherwise dangerous city.
Architecture
The Pale Stone Inn is made of wood painted white, with a pale blue roof. There is a sign above the door shaped like a crescent moon that reads "Pale Stone Inn". It is a two-story building.
Directly inside the pale blue door is the foyer, which houses the front desk where Rupee Teardronsh is stationed. Behind the desk is a small stool which Grinkle usually sits upon when not called upon. To the left and right of the front desk are hallways lined with doors that lead to guest rooms and end in staircases that lead to the second floor. On the second floor is more guest rooms and the staff area, which includes staff housing and the kitchen.
Defenses
Grinkle Stinkle is secretly a member of The Crimson Knives and was planted in the inn to keep an eye on travelers who stay there. He is a skilled fighter and keeps the establishment safe.
