Nova Astor (a.k.a. Steel Swan)

Nova Astor the young legacy of her mother, Moonswan and her father Prospero Jericho aka Polarian. The Young women is a dual powerhouse of Metal Control and Telepathic control.
Moonswan suffered during the Sixth Crisis and has been in poor health not made better by a troubled pregnancy in the AEU during the worst of reconstruction, something that left Nova believing she is at fault. Not helped was her father distancing himself as he transitioned into full-time Hero during this face, leaving a distance between the pair.
Nova was unusually gifted with both of her parents' abilities, which began to manifest quickly during puberty. However, her mother's incredible psychic abilities are difficult to master, whereas her father's Magnetism came easily. Something she wishes the opposite of, as the Telepathic powers are far more useful than the ability to throw a tank around.
Nova joined the Project Neptune mostly against her father's wishes and joined the 21XX class of FS Charlemagne. Here, she would start the rivalry with Princess, aka Brittany Moulineaux, her partner in crime Licorne, aka Antonija Vanko, and of course Prince Ariel. The Class is relatively famous for the number of Big names and being the first Multigenerational Ship in Project Neptune. Still, the North Atlantic Ship saw many enjoyable events as part of its tour of Europe, the Northern parts of the former United States, Atlantis, and the Mediterranean. These contacts would start her Heroic Career and expand her knowledge.
Nova adopted a moniker based on her Mother but references her father's power abilities in the Steel Swan after graduating. She has chosen to move to Pacifica to escape her father's long shadow as a public figure and a Hero.
