Down and Out, A Bulletproof Blues Mighty strange without a doubt

It is 21XX, and you are a member of the next step in humanity, the NuType.   Today, you learn that your transfer to UCAA has been approved, and you may begin the process of migrating to Pacifica, the "reclaim city" located on the frontier of UCAA.   Pacifica is billed as the first "successful" reclaim city, part of the Coalition's Project Phoenix. 30 years ago, the War with the Centauri, X'tachn, and the "Time Travelling visitors" ended dramatically. Much of the North American territory formerly known as the USA and Canada is suffering from the ecological damage to the Higgs Energy Bomb that was used decades earlier to try and end the Daikaiju Threat and the fallout of the Centauri and X'tachn threat has left much of the infrastructure destroyed to say nothing of the civilian deaths. However, time and effort has seen humanity bounce if not back at least in the best direction forward.   Project Phoenix is the Coalition's attempt to begin to retake the territory it lost 30 years ago due to ecological shifts, kaiju incursions, and alien warfare. The project is a massive resource-hungry rebuilding attempt combined with military operations to handle the strange, alien Monsters and Petty Warlords who have claimed the badlands for themselves. A threat is still hanging over Pacifica, which is one of the needs and reasons for Hero's to transfer to the city.   The Pacifica Metropolitan area covers the ruins of the southern coast of what was California, starting in Tijuana and San Diego and ending in Oxnard. Connected by Coalition Underground Rail, the city is quickly growing as the Coalition offers the beautiful future city as the primary destination for the three promises of the Coalition: Life, Liberty, and Freedom of Happiness. It is a chance to begin again and reclaim the Coalition's "American Dream" for everyone. It is a chance to start again, rub shoulders with the Elite, and escape the horrors of the 6 Crises that the world is still healing from in the Coalition's City of Tomorrow.   As the population quickly grows, and being on the Pacific Coast, Higgs Energy has attracted the attention of the Kaiju threat, requiring an ever-growing need for NuTypes of all kinds. However, with people comes corporations, and the infighting of a city is on the rise. The expansion of territory and the needs of people bring crime, corruption, and shadow wars, another reason for bold NuTypes.   The Coalition Governments have approved your transfer and immigration to Pacifica. The S.E.N.T.I.N.A.L. has updated your M.A.N.T.I.C.O.R.E. security accordingly.   With a new start and a new place ready for you, it is an opportunity to reinvent yourself.
