Starleaf Vale

Starleaf Vale is named after the red-robed order of druids of The Order of the Star Leaf. These red-robed mystics have been based in the Vale for centuries and under their protection a village has grown up on the edge of the Llangoed Forest. Because of the presence of the Druids most Valesmen and women make their living as farmers, venturing into the forest only to gather nuts and berries. Most denizens of the Vale are vegetarians and it is only in places that cater to visitors where meat can be found.

Demographics

The Vale is:

Elf (65%)
Human (35%)

Most of the wealth is concentrated with the elves, who are longer term in the Vale than the humans which has caused resentment in the past.
Elven is often spoken here by humans and elves alike, especially within the Order.

Government

Like it’s counterpart Darknook, the Vale has a democratically elected Mayor. Currently this is Hluadha . The Order of the Star Leaf also has quite a bit of influence on the day to day life of the Vale.
