Banderhobos Report

General Summary

After farewelling Narder in the evening and getting ready to go to bed Thomas Marchant and Marble are offered "a little job" by Bornafnr, owner of The Wand of Ice. He had an "associate" who needed to recover an item from a burnt out house and required help to do so because it appeared a large toad-like creature was also searching the ruins.
The Five Fingers of Dorwine agreed and, in short order, headed to the outskirts of Windmontley Hold where they clashed with a large Banderhobb. Despite both Alok Ravaralei and Badalona Ailendogs being caught in the beast's tongue (and Badalona actually being swallowed) our heroes prevailed and located the item.
The next day, with fresh coin in the party coffers, they were able to purchase horses from Dougan’s Quality Horses. Whilst purchasing The Witch, Stormcloud, Dragonspear and Thunderhammer Mehmen Ashid was able to use magic to actually ascertain these horses were called Neville, Keith, Raewyn and Di and seemed willing, if not resigned to serving the party.
After consulting with Gripi at The Rooster & Whale the party decided to head towards Utford and the Ravenwood en route to the Ashen Hills. Their first day's journey was uneventful but the evening threw up a couple of surprises.
The first was one of their nocturnal visits from Bali who informed Badalona that someone in the group was marked. The second was the discovery of a bard who called himself Munchkin Goldentongue. Goldentongue was hiding at their camp site after going on the run to avoid the Reeve of Utford (whose wife he seduced). Goldentongue also revealed that he had, not long ago parted company with Alexander Face’s Travelling Circus & Menagerie, a travelling show that Thomas had once been part of. Goldentongue had left the show in Beemor for similar reasons to why he fled Utford.
The Five Fingers allowed Munchkin to stay withbthem overnight, suggesting he travel to Darknook and look to ply his craft at The Triumphant King.
