Alexander Face’s Travelling Circus & Menagerie

Alexander Face is a spring eladrin Bard who has a travelling troupe of entertainers that makes it way from settlement to settlement in Dorwine in a string of gaudy caravans.
The lineup changes often as entertainers come and go, mostly because they realise that Alexander is a charlatan with absolutely no business or production acumen. Disaster seems to follow Alexander around. If it wasn’t for his charismatic personality he would have been out of show business a long time ago. Alexander can put on a great show and charm a crowd but he can’t hold onto money - ever.

Structure

Currently Alexander’s lineup is:

• Aldous Ranklespear - the one armed animal trainer is currently in charge of the Menagerie. Currently it consists of a hippogriff, an owlbear, a blind basilisk, a tiger, an elderly dire wolf and a giant boar. Aldous is old and bitter and never tells anyone how he lost his arm, and his eye
• Brogu is a Minotaur who serves as the circus strongman. Brogu has been with the circus for several incarnations. Despite his size and the reputation minotaurs have Brogu is, at heart, a scholar and poet who prefers nice things to throwing weights around.
• Dreebus is a grung who serves as the circus’s engineer, taking responsibility for the wagons and tent.
• Wazwyg is a goblin illusionist and fortune teller
• Yekk is a kenku who does a standup comedy act impersonating famous figures of Dorwine (his impression of Alexander is also spot on)

History

While recently visiting Beemor the show suffered a disaster when animals escaped the menagerie at the time and mauled several attendees. Paying compensation almost bankrupted Alexander who has had to start again small and rebuild.
