Doreymos

A single city on a massive continent, Doreymos is the largest metropolis in the world. With the sheer number of people wandering the streets, the city would fall in to interminable chaos if not for a strict social order held by a combination of guilds, factions, and politicians running the city, making sure that the gem of the continent functions properly. Sprawling out across the land, there's few places you can go to find respite from the towering buildings, almost every inch of the winding streets a confusing mess. Some districts, especially the newer ones, are well organized and cleans, but others have all but fallen in to anarchy, ruled by thieves guilds and madmen. However, the dream of social mobility stands for many there, and with enough hard work and luck, even the most downtrodden can climb their way to the top, either on the own or with the help of a guild, in Doreymos.
