The Scaleborn College
As the preeminent school of magic, the Scaleborn College resides in The 4th District and provides an education in the magical arts to most practitioners, whether they be naturally gifted Sorcerers or knowledge-seeking Wizards. However, membership at the college is not for the faint of heart, as a large portion of the faculty are dragons, who have high standards for their students of any and all species.
Structure
The College is led by the Headmaster, who determines overall curriculum and manages disputes between faculty, students, and the outside world. Directly below them are the Department Heads, who each specialize in a specific school of magic (conjuration, evocation, necromancy, etc.) and organize classes around it. Finally, the majority of the college is filled out by Professors, who teach classes relating to each of the schools of magic that vary from introductory courses to advanced research labs dedicated to developing new spells.
Culture
The College prioritizes learning above all else, although this doesn't make them immune to petty squabbles within. Ultimately, it is several dragons of both the chromatic and metallic variety gathered in to one location. While many do attempt to stay civil, often times they'll go on rampages over mundane things, dueling one another in the sky and streets. These duels are rarely lethal, but are still best avoided by passersby.
Public Agenda
The Scaleborn College aims to educate and enrich the lives of as many as it can in as many magical arts as it can, as well as prepare them for the chaos of Manastorms and, frequently, educate them in their personal philosophies of life.
