Eushia Geographic Location in Dierde | World Anvil

Eushia

Eushia is not currently under any kingdom, and the civilizations on the island are mostly city-states where they about trade and commerce. On this continent one of the most important large cities is known as Neyer'sWinter which has grown over the centuries from the winter resort of Neyer, a gnome of odd adventures and history, to the important trade center it is today. Many of the various nations trust the artisans and mints of Neyer'sWinter for minting new coinage and it is a great trading center for most anything. The continent does have a large mountain range where gnomes and dwarfs live as well as many monsters who reside on the continent. The west side of the continent is mostly civilized with Neyer'sWinter as the Jewel of the North and a bustling market center. Near the center are tall mountains that house many dwarves and gnomes who mine for metals, stone, and precious gems to sell and trade for other goods and services. There is a colony of Dark Elves who also reside there. On the other side of the mountains are various tribes of monsters who do tend to seek resources from time to time. There have been incidents in the past where the monsters have overtaken major areas and there have been times where the civilized folk have beat back the monsters. The cost to eradicate all the monsters is just not feasible, and so it is pretty stable right now.

Locations of Note

Geography

This large continent is divided by a humongous mountain range that splits the island into a Westside and a East

Fauna & Flora

To the north of the continent it is snow and tundra then it goes into deserts and hills with some wooded areas. Near the center is the hills and mountains and then it goes to the temperate fields and forests. There is a wide range of flora and fauna even though some of the better crops are not able to grow on this continent (naturally).

Natural Resources

All types of stones, metals, and gems can be found here. Even though there are plenty of farms, they are a bit limited on the varieties of wheat they can produce. There are lots of lumber resources, but the best timber and wood comes from the more southern continents.
