Laurelia is the creative genius behind T. Botts & Children, Co.'s most recent fame. Even though the company had been successful before, since she started working as the VP for Research, Development and Manufacturing the business has reached unknown hights. Her inventions are far beyond what anyone else can come even close to.
However, in the last years tension between Laurelia and her father, Thaddeus Bott and brother, Thaddeus Botts Junior grew. She felt held back by their business caution and their acceptance of city regulations of the new technology.
She started to work on devices, that had no chance of actually being licensed or produced.
To be able to do her experiments, she needed to buy more raw Ethirium on the side, as her brother was always checking the books, and there was only so much material, she could claim for necessary research.
She started selling off some of her prototypes to dodgy traders and fences in the Warren.
She made just enough money to be able to buy more Ethirium and other materials without it turning up in the books. She never realized, that the merchants, who sold her magical gadgets made a fortune off of them.
About two months ago, Faregrim Steelfist turns up in her office. He knows all about her side business and the machines she is working on. He blackmails her to work for him. She has to leave her father's company and move to a Warehouse in the Warren, where she has to work on a special project just for him. He has her write a Good Bye Letter, then she has to vanish.
In the following months, she works on Steelfist's project. She does not realize, what it is for, so she is actually not unhappy, because finally she can work with no restraints. Shortly before it is finished, a couple of days before the Silver Celebration, she realizes, how dangerous this project is. She tries to sabotage it, but is caught by Steelfist's guards and is locked up in the warehouse.
After being rescued by the RBI, she turns herself into the Watch. In her confession she takes the full blame for all illegal activities within T. Botts & Children, Co., even the attack on the RBI. This is later confirmed by Panana Nackle. With the help of her brother's legal team, she is released on bond. As her brother is trying to do damage control to save T. Botts & Children, Co., the company publicly turns away from working with Ethirium Force Technology. She resigns her postion as VP and is currently waiting for her trial.

Only daughter of Thaddeus Botts. She was born in Rhynmouth and grew up a very sheltered, even priviledged life.
Education
From an early age she showed high intelligence and an outstanding innovative mind. She spent all her free time in her father's workshop helping him with new designs and inventions.
Employment
After finishing her education ahead of all her peers, she joined her father in the workshop at T. Botts & Children, Co.. Her innovations and inventions were putting her family's company far ahead of its rivals and once she started working with Ethirium, there seemed to be no limits to her ideas. She very soon became Vice President of T. Botts & Children, Co. for Research, Development and Manufacturing.
