Panana Nackle
When Thaddeus Botts Junior comes to her with his problem of getting his hands on a mysterious object, she is eager to help him, hoping for further promotion. She connects with her disgraced cousin, Gronwar Nackle. He had left the Nackle family decades ago, the last that was heard of him was, that he had been arrested and imprisoned. Panana had been the only member of the family, who kept contact and she knows, that he had escaped prison and was laying low in the Warren.
Gronwar hires Gladys and Panana steals Clank and they try to steal the Phantasmal Projector, but fail. Panana is seriously injured during the fight and taken to the Watch Hospital. She remains unconcious for a while. Once she wakes up, she is interrogated by Tya'von Daragast and admits everything, but tries to keep Thaddeus Botts Junior out of the story. Later she has to give him up, but admits, that it was her fault for trusting Gronwar and stealing Clank and thus derailing the mission. While still in hospital, she gets a bunch of flowers from Thaddeus Junior.
She is released on bond from the Watch Headquarters and Thaddeus Junior offers to marry her and adopt her children into the Botts clan, partly out of feelings of guilt, partly to persuade her to keep the Botts family out of the whole affair as much as still possible. She complies with this by changing her confession to confirming Laurelia Botts evidence, that Laurelia alone was behind the attack on the RBI. When pressed, Panana claimed that she got scared into blaming Thaddeus by the creepy dark elf. The Botts clan is paying for a very good lawyer.
Panana has had a bit of a change of heart due to her ordeal. She has realized that connecting with Gronwar was a huge mistake and is genuinly touched by Junior's kindness.

Panana is a foregnome at T. Botts & Children, Co.. She has been working at the factory for decades, her abilities, however, are rather limited and she is always afraid of losing her position. This puts her in a precarious position, as her husband had died quite some time ago, she has two children to look after and the Nackle Clan itself is not known for its kindheartedness. She is trying to make up for lack of talent by ingratiating herself with her bosses. She does not shy from reporting other employees for minor infractions or take the credit for something someone else created.
