Thaddeus Ludoviko Konradus Albert Botts
Thaddeus Botts is one of the most renowned personalities in the Gnome community in Rhynmouth.
He was one of the first Gnomes to settle in the Dun and he has built an extremely successful business inventing and selling magical items. He is one of the leaders of the Tinkerer's Guild and a member of the Gnomish Council.
His family is respected and liked by almost everyone in the Dun for their work ethics, ingenuity and upright conduct with family, friends and business partners alike.
The happenings during the Silver Celebrations, his daughter's involvement in manufacturing and selling illegal magical devices and his son trying to hush up the affair dealt a devastating blow to Thaddeus. He saw his life's work crumble before him. He resigned from his position as the chairman of the Tinkerer's Guild and gave up his seat on the Gnomish Council. Even though he officially is still the CEO of Botts and Children, he is no longer involved in the active running of the company and has given his son Thaddeus Junior full control over the business.

Owner and CEO of one of the oldest and certainly the most successful Gnomish manufactoring workshops in Rhynmouth.
His company was renowned for the sophisticated and advanced mechanical gadgeds, tools and machines it produced, even before the discovery the capabilities of Ethirium crystals. However, once the possibilities of magically powered objects became a reality, T. Botts & Children, Co. became the leading manufactorer of these items.
Mental Trauma
He witnessed the utter destruction of his home town, Brzzwick. It forever changed his attitude towards Elves. Even though he is capable to put his animosity to the side when having business dealings with Elves, he cannot forgive them for the devastation the Elven nation has caused his home country.
Intellectual Characteristics
Thaddeus is highly intelligent, even for a Gnome. He is able to invent the most advanced technical or magical machinery, whilst, at the same time, being a clever and forward thinking business gnome.
Morality & Philosophy
Thaddeus is reknown for his upright business principles, sometimes so much so, that he rather accepts a loss of profit, than being to careless or not srupelous enough.
He adheres to the typical Gnomish value system. Family and Clan are his top priority.
