Corrupted Fog

The corrupted fog is dense, pale white, and thick, leaving vison blurred after 10 feet. Light cannot penatrate its cloud, leaving anyone within it, a target for whatever hides within it. This fog always travels with the Misty Carnival, causing untold hallucinations of people's worse fears. These hallucinations feel real; one can touch the hallucinations as if they are solid matter.
The fog seeps through every crack in homes or other buildings, putting people into a stasis sleep, where they can only be awakened once the fog is gone. For those who happen to remain awake, they must travel out into fog, facing their worst fears, and perhaps, getting lost from any allies they had made. People do get lost in the fog and end up traveling with the fog for miles, or possibly across different planes of existence. This only happens if the Misty Carnival has exceeded its time in whatever current location it was in.
