Plane of Lightning

The electric field is the force that creates lightning and magnetism. The plane is relatively week and small because there is not that much natural occurring lightning. Most lightning magic is evocation and calls on the raw power of lightning. However many creatures also use the electric field to send information through their nerves, so some spells that temporarily stun or incapacitate use the electric field instead of attacking the brain.
The plane of Lightning is filled with storms, continuing lightning bolts and heavy magnetic fields disturb compasses in places where the lightning field is more active.

Temperament. As a Lightning genasi you are energetic. You are not quick to anger but when you do become angry you strike fast as lightning and the results are not pretty. Many others are often surprised by this violent outburst but once calm returns the genasi feels drained and tired. Lightning genasi enjoy moving and using energy and often are involved in some physical activity that is tiring often some form of sport.
Appearance. Hair from a lightning genasi often stands straight up and spiky and is sometimes white or purple. When another creature touches a lightning genasi they often feel a slight shock. The veins of a lightning genasi are often extra blue or purple and seem to pulse with electricity with every heartbeat the skin is often pale accentuating the veins even more. Their eyes can be as intens as a lightning strike. Their voices are often loud deep and powerful. They carrie the smell of ozone with them which kinda smells like electrical fires or cleaning products but it also smells of crisp springtime rain.
Lightning Resistance. You have resistance to lightning damage.
Lightning charge. Your charge is as fast and deadly as lightning. As a bonus action on your turn you can teleport towards a creature within 20 feet of you. And if you hit the creature with a melee weapon attack this turn you may deal an extra 1d12 lightning damage. After you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Storm Bringer. You know the Shocking Grasp or Lightning Lure cantrip(your choice), requiring no material components. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Witch Bold spell once with this trait as a 1st-level spell, requiring no material components, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Languages. Fulgas the lightning dialect of Primordial is a language that sounds like rolling thunder and crackling sounds with short spikes of explosiveness. The language is very loud and hard on the throat and almost impossible to whisper.
