The 'Free People' Move South
Clan Fury has a vast history amongst the Northmen of the Unbound Lands. Led by the infamous Twin's Chosen, this group of 'free people' have spent the last decades away from the civilization of northmen culture, instead lingering in the shadows of the Rhakhis at the edge of society.
Small raids and conflicts with the other clans were not uncommon, but recently many disappearances rocked the Northmen clans. The clans united to face a common foe - The Sons of Avlar, who operated from the old ruins of Vaethryn Castle.
While the Northmen forces were occupied by this group of outsiders, Clan Fury struck the Rosewall - the divine landmark at the northern edge of the Dawning Empire - with a huge force. It had seemed that under the cover of the Sons of Avlar's operations, the clan had been 'recruiting' members of the other clans in the far reaches of the Unbound Lands, forming a horde that numbered in the thousands. Their justification seemed to point to some unstoppable darkness encroaching from the far North, which they believed would eventually swallow the entire world.
Whether by divine foresight or sheer luck, this attack was overshadowed by the death of Emperor Davistan XIV and the Orodáni Invasion at Helias, the Empire was not poised to retaliate with the conviction they once would have. During this time of war for the Empire, diplomats from the Conclave of the Fifth treat with The Twin's Chosen at Rostwaithe Castle near the Tee-Niyan Pass, seeking a diplomatic resolution to their migration south.
