NovaCorp

NovaCorp is the most powerful and most corrupt organization and in the world, with full control over Nova City, the largest human settlement, plus major influence over the Knights and surviving cities worldwide. Their factories produce food, clothing, A.S.A.s, furniture, and building materials that are unavailable from any other source, and their super stuck-up CEO creates laws that oppress the citizens of Nova City.

Structure

CEO

The CEO has authority over the entire company and is in charge of all high-level functions. He's basically like a king, and probably thinks he is one. He makes laws that Nova City's citizens must obey.

The Three Chairs

The Knight-in-Command and two other people chosen by the CEO work as his advisors. If the CEO is absent, these three members are in charge. They're usually not much better than the CEO.

White Collars

Managers, diplomats, programmers, and other mid-level employees fall under this category. These are very well-paid and sought-after positions with high requirements and even higher expectations.

Debt Slaves

Since NovaCorp has a monopoly over Nova City, they like to drive up the cost of living. Almost every citizen has been in debt to NovaCorp at some point, and those who can't pay it off are forced to work in factories.

NovaCorp says they want to make profits and write history by uniting humanity with curses. Anyone who disagrees with their methods will be hunted down by Knights.

History

Tobias Contari founded NovaCorp in 2020 with the help of the first curse to appear on Earth. Together, they caused the Cataclysm that reshaped the world, destroyed a majority of habitable land, and ended billions of lives. In the aftermath, the built up Nova City as a seat of power and encouraged the spread of curses. Tobias continued to rule until 2058, when he was assassinated by the emergent curse-eaters. But the curse-eaters failed to destroy the company entirely, and Tobias's son Simon became the new CEO.
