Knights

Ah, the Knights. Where to even begin? Well, they're NovaCorp's sword and shield, law enforcement, and military order. Except for NovaCorp itself, no organization has as much power as the Knights.

Structure

The Knight-in-Command is in charge of the whole group. They can appoint ordinary Knights to special class, who get access to restricted contracts and an all-access pass to NovaCorp, or captains, who have control over Knights in certain districts. Below captains are the average Knight, and below them are the recruits.

Public Agenda

Report any information regarding the curse-eaters to the Knights for a reward.
-Knight posters
Knights claim to be working to protect the citizens of Nova City, but all they really do is uphold NovaCorp's ridiculous laws and harass anyone they feel like. They'd probably be nicer people if they weren't all cursed.

Knights VS Curse-Eaters

Knights and curse-eaters are mortal enemies. The rude Knights try to kill or capture curse-eaters on sight, while curse-eaters just want to help people in need. Which is usually the people being harassed by Knights. This has led to some epic showdowns in the streets.

Contracts

Knights spend most of their time either looking for people to bother in the name of NovaCorp, or taking on contracts from sin traders. Contracts usually involve capturing or killing high-value targets, including curse-eaters, or stopping the spread of dangerous criminal activities, such as trading lemons. Seriously, what's their problem with citizens enjoying lemons?

History

The Knights started as a group of cursed people who wanted to form a cursed-only military order. NovaCorp decided they were useful and built them up as a more powerful group.

Recruitment

Knights are constantly trying to recruit people. They have recruitment flyers and ads everywhere. Kids in schools are required to go through physical aptitude testing and lectures about how great Knights are. There's optional training courses for those who are really excited to get out there and abuse the law.

Requirements

Once someone turns 18 and gets cursed, they can become a Knight. Nothing else matters, not even criminal history. They even encourage former rule-breakers to join the Knights as a way of showing that they've become a "better person." Although it goes without saying that curse-eaters cannot become Knights. When a person first joins, they're considered a recruit until they complete 3 contracts.

Uniforms

All Knights wear a black and white uniform consisting of a jacket (with their name stitched over the chest; they're not shy), an undershirt, combat boots, and a pair of pants crossed between dress pants and athletic pants. Recruits have 1 star stitched below their name, regular Knights have 2, captains have 3, special class have 4, and the Knight-in-Command has 5. All Knights also wear an Advanced Supernatural Armament (A.S.A. for short) and know how to use it.

Oh boy, these guys sound like real pieces of work. I would love to see who actually likes these guys if they are such downers. Citizens? Those uneducated/indocterinated? Some quotes would go a long way here to establish the feeling from the citizens.   Great Article.
