St. Stanislaus Church - 522 Walnut St

Established in 1878, this Catholic church occupies a former Baptist church that could be bought cheaply. The congregation is mostly Polish. There is a daily mass at 7 a.m., Saturday confessions from noon to 4 p.m., and Sunday masses at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.   Father Casimir Iwanicki: over the years Father Casimir has been told many stories about an old witch woman named Hekeziah Massey and a thing that accompanies her, Browne Jenkinne. The witch, or her ghost, has been accused of kidnaping numerous children over the years; lately, the 63-year-old priest has found reason to believe the stories. He has begun accumulating information on Hekeziah Massey's earthly manifestations and of the Secret Cult that surrounds her. Recently he has become rather frightened at his suspicions that some important people in New Jerusalem are involved in the horrors. Because of this he recently purchased the church and himself a trained guard dog, Lena.   Lena is a 4-year-old trained Doberman Pinscher guard/attack dog. She is a quiet, happy person who can at a word become a vicious and relentless killer. She likes Father Casimir Iwanicki a great deal and enjoys seeing all the people that come and go through the church. Lena has heard a lot about Hekeziah Massey and the Browne Jenkinne thing now, and she has vowed to protect the church and her friend Father Iwanicki no matter what.
