Personal history
She is one of the few women who have defied the traditions of Cities and has taken up Security and Personnel Relations when there were only two heirs for the three positions. The Info-Speakers of Hallomin City had to invoke the laws against harming them when she announced her intentions when she came of age on her twentieth birthday.
"It's just not done. The eldest always leads us with Management, and if the eldest is a man, then he takes on Security as an additional role. A woman as the eldest is Management only. Winze should be Head of Security. It's just the way things ought to be done"
Morality & Philosophy
Taboos
"Sh! If you say one more word, you will disappear too, like Ahpey."
"I'm just telling the truth, Winze should be in charge of Security, not Management. Or maybe she should just take over for him."
Relationships
History
Peat is the elder sister of Winze, and when Peat reached her age of majority, she announced she woul not be taking on Management of Hallomin City and would have Winze take on the position while she served as the diplomat and the military representation of Hallomin City's government.
Winze was not prepared for this announcement, and has been deferring to his sister in most governing decisions.
"Why does she have him in control when she's clearly better suited? It may never have been done without her losing power after she would marry, but I'm sure the city would support her in removing him."
