Geography
This is a high Plateau set between the northern and southern ranges of the Spine. The Plateau’s elevation is roughly 7,000 and it is more or less flat. Much pf the plateau is grassland. Cold Lake is a large, deep freshwater lake on the western end of the plateau. The lake is fed by a network of small rivers that flow down from the mountains. The water itself flows into the Rinda River which flows down through the northern range of the Spine before meeting with a river system that connects it to the Windy Sea.
Fauna & Flora
Most of the Plateau is grassland with small copses of evergreens. Small forests can be found in the river valleys. The animal life of the Plateau is dominated by domesticated herd animals like woolly cows, shaggy ponies and sheep. Bears and wolves frequently come down from the mountains to prey on the domestic animals.
