A tall brunette with thick curly hair, fine features and great height. Marissa stands just over 6’ tall making her the tallest woman at court. She is strongly built and has trained as a warrior. She fights with a bastard sword and a short bow. She favors heavy armor, usually wearing plate mail. She has fallen in with Atheneis Shandie’s entourage and is a close friend of the Grand Constable. Her training as a warrior has primarily been at the hands of Klonna and her father.   The forest life at her mother’s hall bores her so she spends most of her time at court. She had had flings with members of both the Royal Coven and the Twelve Jewels.

Personal history

Born at her mother's country house Morja Annannara, she spent her early years in the countryside, but at age 7 began to spend more time at court as she attended the palace school with the other children of the Royal Clan. Soon she began to show an interest in martial skills and began to take weapons training with her cousins. At age thirteen she began to attend the Alyite Temple in Landor and began to identify herself as an Alyite. At fifteen she joined her first military expedition serving as an aid to her cousin Atheneis Shandie. The next year she joined the imperial guard as an Ensign. Since this time she has been a regular member of Atheneis Shandie's entourage and is by all accounts one the Grand Constables closest friends.
