The Concord of Black

The Concord of Black is the common name given to the alliance of demigods and powerful, otherworldy entities which were freed from their prison in The Amber Temple within Sigelruck. Once freed, the Concord of Black immediately set to raze and resurrect the local population of Sigelruck as an undead army, bolstered by a pack of werewolves, various demons summoned from the lower planes, and the residence of a local assylum for the mentally unwell. The Concord was partially responsible for the death of Strahd von Zarovich, vampire count of Sigelruck; and for the county's return to material plane. Once returned to the material, the Concord immediately began a war against The Harlade Confederation.

Structure

15 entities are members of the Concord, distributed among the bodies of 5 mortal avatars - living and dead. Felicien Targete is the single most powerful avatar, being a host to four dark gods, as well as the human warlock himself. This power makes Felicien the de-facto leader of the Concord, of there were such a title. Felicien has dominion of the the allied demons and denizens of the lower planes who serve the Concord.

Gaston - leader of the werewolves and beastmen - is a host to two dark powers. He is primarily focused on rapidly expanding the size of the pack by infecting and integrating as many men as is possible along the western and north-western edges of the Concord.

Grimes, The Seer - is a resurrected human host to three dark powers. Together, they use powerful magics to peer into the future and distance, providing valuable intelligence to the Concord, and also invading the minds of mortals within their reach.

Kasimir Velikov, The Necromancer King - is a resurrected dusk-elf host to three dark powers. Together they lead an army of undead, infected with The Harlades Plague. The undead army is primarily waging ongong war against the reconsituted forces of The Harlade Confederation in the central and eastern counties of The Harlade Mountains.
