Ssel'is'is (a.k.a. Appointed Speaker)
Ssel’is’is is the “Speaker” for the Halis'allah Tribe in the town of Veradil, and functions as sort of a diplomat or representative there. Like most of his tribesmen, he loves to spend time in the water and is adept at spearfishing, usually sharing meals with his fellow lizardfolk or other house guests. He is uncommonly well-spoken and crafty for lizardfolk, putting a greater importance on language than most of his people. This makes him particularly well-suited for dealing with the “soft-skin” residents of the mainland, where he puts every effort into protecting the interests of his people.
