Across every Ichor extraction base camp run by Amy & Amee's, exists an award for the Employee that manages to participate in the most extractions per month. Whichever person volunteers the most of their time to be in the most danger and inevitably collect the most Ichor wins this prestigious award: Employee of the Month.

To the Victor

The title of Employee of the Month is a temporary title, awarded based on strict, quanitifiable criteria. It goes to the individual who heads out into the field, directly in the path of whatever God-husk they are drawing blood from, and repeatedly draws Ichor out the most times.
Many activists and worker's rights groups frown at and even condemn this award; awarding employees for putting themselves in excess danger is seen as exceptionally poor management. To go for the award, employees work longer hours, risking their lives far more than usual.

The Spoils

While the pay an Ichor extractor recieves is usually acceptable, it's often not enough to justify the danger for many. That's where the rewards for being Employee of the Month come in: the winner of this award is granted one full, paid entirely, month off from work. Notable extractors with ample skill have been known to win Employee of the Month multiple times, working one month and then taking the next off in a pattern of success.

Besides the base 1 month paid vacation, the Employee of the Month also gets a few other small bonuses. These include a punch card for 3 free meals at the "Gods' Table", the expensive restaurant reserved for management, a new set of work boots, and a small wooden trophy that's been painted gold.
The trophy must however be returned at the end of the month, in order to be given to the next winning Employee.

Sharing of Ideas

While the idea of Employee of the Month is not new, what Amy & Amee's first did at Base Camp: Qur, giving a full paid month off to the winner, shifted the paradigm. Productivity increased at a rate that far exceeded what they were losing by paying one employee to not work for a month.
Across the globe, at many industrial locations not run by Amy & Amee's, this form of rewarded Employee of the Month is beginning to catch on.
