Gallus is the father of Ferus Valunos and Ekstasia Valunos. His 3rd child died in childbirth. 
He was the governor of Gersegos for multiple decades, defending it against Northern incursion and serving the empire well. When the empire disintegrated, he decided to follow his friend, and the Husband of his daughter Emperor Ariminius Comnenos. He died in battle with Vaegir raiders in the Icaran Wildlands.
