House Valunos

House Volunos is the only of the major houses of The Western Calradian Empire that only recently gained their power. The family had long been charged with the defense of Gersegos and the surrounding lands. This made them very skilled fighters, stalwart defenders, haters of Vaegirs, but never wealthy or powerful. when the previous Archon of Caprera  was discovered to be consorting with Daemons, the Patriarch of House Volunos was chosen to rise to it's leadership as it's new archon. This slingshot the family to power, but it is still the least experienced of the rest.
The first wife of the Emperor Ariminius Comnenos was of House Volunos, and this has made them well renowned and respected despite their inexperience.
