Ezura

Origin of Life

Ezura is the oldest and largest of all continents of Calcaria. It is a vast land filled with deserts, steppes and most prominently, jungles. The jungles of Ezura are as varied as their inhabitants, but all teem with life; some of it as old as the world itself. Further than that, Ezura is home to the largest mountain range known to all civilised folk, the World Mountains, more colloquially known as The Belt. They are truly gargantuan, separating the Silverwastes from the Togatl Jungles, both regions almost as large than the small continent of Irrylia. East of the Belt lies the Girded Valley, a rich fertile land home to the Damarans, which is now contested by the zealous crusader states. Ezura is also home to a huge inland body of water known as the Sea of Visceria.
Beyond its varied geography, the cultures on Ezura are varied. All life is said to have originated on Ezura, though such claims are impossible to prove. What is known is that every race, beast and life form known to civilised folk has one home or many on the continent. Be it the mysterious Saurian, the common Human or even the exotic Nyoka who are not of this world; all can be found on Ezura.
