In human rhetoric it is said the thoughts and dreams of mortals shaped the gods' presence and will on Calcaria, the Danann. Indeed, high priests and saints are said to be contacted by the gods through their minds and dreams, and many believe ones' thoughts shapes ones' beliefs when it comes to the divine. The deities of Calcaria are as diverse as they are plentiful; their powers ranging from arcane tricks to world-shaping properties. One however, is worshipped above all: Goddess of Sun and Light, and the Mother of Man, Danu and her radiant host command the largest base of worshippers among mortals. Her radiance brings warmth, growth and light in an otherwise inhospitable world. However, before the Danann there were the otherworldy Amari. Responsible for shaping much of Calcaria itself, as well as awakening the Eldar and a host of other species and beasts, the Amari dwelled on Calcaria for milennia. Futhermore, the Dwarves partake in ancestor worship; remembering the deeds and character of their Paragons. Other worshipped beings include the Great Sun Serpent revered by the Yaun-Ti of Ezura, and Aerendel himself worshiped by his creations, the Florens. In every corner of Calcaria you will find beings and deities worshiped and venerated by species great and small.
