Danu
Goddess of Sun & Light
(a.k.a. The Mother, Mother of Man)
Danu is the most worshipped deity on Calcaria, and for good reason: Her sun brings light and warmth every day in its endless battle against the cold night. She is also seen as the mother of Man and at least partially responsible for the race of Men to awaken, though this is disputed among scholars. In any case, her constellation of deities is revered among all civilised peoples across the known world, and she is the deity of many paladins.
Her constellation features Goibniu, god of the forge, as well as her two daughters, Epona, goddess of Equines, and Morrigan, goddess of Victory & Charity. Many other minor deities and demi-gods are also under her wing, mostly in connection to her sun-fire and angelic host: Her Solars, Devas, Planetars and Seraph. This angelic host follows a strict hierarchy, and no new Solars, Devas or Planetars have been created since Danu's own inception. The current angelic lieutenants are all great crusaders of old, dating back to the time of the Malediction itself.
The same is not true for Seraph, for a new Seraph is created whenever a soul joins Danu on Sanctum, where they may serve under her wing. The servitors of Danu include:
