The Moon Goddess

Although Luna is not as widely revered as her partner, Danu, she nevertheless has a special place in the hearts of soldiers, guards and watchers in the night. She is the subject of many a children's tale about mindfulness during nights of terror, when her gaze will not protect you from that which lurks in the dark. Her cousins, Dagda, Aengus and Nuada all command religious followings of their own but together they form the Oculus constellation, with her moon mirroring as an iris.
