Jericho
Starry Domain of Luna
"Mortals refer to it as the moon, track their calendars by it and think of it no further. Without it, we would all be at the mercy of Mirum or daemons..." - Muldefix the ElderJericho is the domain of order and home to the goddess Luna. It is dominated by a single feature which can be seen for miles: The pearly white tower known as the Silver Pillar rises between three infinite seas, disconnected from each other by thin strips of land. It rests atop a fortress-prison unlike any other, so massive it is almost a plane of existence onto its own, dwarfed only by the three seas which crash into its tall walls. This prison is Jericho, and Jericho is the prison. All other features are referred to as the three seas or the Silver Pillar of Luna.
Inhabitants
Jericho is home to many souls deemed too dangerous to be released into the multiverse, usually the immortal kind. As for its free inhabitants, many lawfully aligned creatures walk, swim and fly across the plane, watching and patrolling with unnerving restlessness. They include Lunas servitors such as Silver Paladins of Vonos or the utterly alien jailors known as Thrones. Apart from the goddess herself, the most powerful beings are the natives, the Archons of Time, Law, Space and Order. Though they only number four, they are incredibly powerful creatures that rival the gods themselves in their power over the multiverse. How Luna managed to bind them to her will remains unknown, though they have kept much of their autonomy.Geography
Jericho is dominated by its low-lying fortress of the same name, above which the Silver Pillar pierces the grey heavens. Here a silvery fog covers all, giving the impression that ones vision has turned grey. Beyond that the plane is divided into three layers, or seas, which are infinitely large and surround the fortress-prison utterly and entirely, save for the strips of lands dividing them.
Sea of Tranquility
The jet-black ocean surface here is only disturbed by the other tall tower of Jericho: the Lighthouse of Dagda, god of vigilance. For an eternity has it shone its light across the dark water, searching and seeking for anything out of place. Out of the three seas the Sea of Tranquility has the wildest waves, all of which crash into Dagda's Lighthouse, no matter the direction of the wind. It only earns its name due to the muffled sound of both voice and nature, which makes communication nigh impossible. Only the lighthouse is lifted from this spell, and Dagda would have it no other way, always listening for escapees.
Sea of Serenity
Dotted across the second sea are many smaller islands, many of them just large enough for the shrines and monuments built upon them. Jotting out of the ruby sea at its centre is a gigantic cathedral of bone, perched atop the skeletons of ten dead kraken. It is here that Aengus, god of honour, has made his home after slaying the sea monsters long ago. Every small island around is dedicated to a paladin who died honourably on the field of battle in his name, and whose souls attend him in his Church of Bones. It is said the sea is tinted red with the blood of those who slain in his name, yet it is barely distinguishable as such through the silvery mist permeating Jericho.
Sea of Fecundity
The third sea is home to Nuada, god of justice and her dragon-kin. It is the only sea of the three with actual continents and landmasses, each dominated by a dragon, its age determining the size of land it controls and uses as hunting grounds. Many dragonborn who have followed their metallic kin's footsteps may end up here too, usually on the same continent as their ancestor. Should a prisoner escape Jericho, they may attempt to escape to a continent on the Sea of Fecundity, however should a visitor arrive unannounced on an island here, they will quickly learn what the inside of an ancient dragon feels like. It is unpleasant.
