Morrigan
Goddess of Victory & Charity
Commander of the Celestial Host and second daughter of Danu, Morrigan is the preferred deity of many of Calcaria's generals and warlords. After the banishment of Balor into the Infernum, Morrigan was pronounced Commander of all celestial forces and was ascended deity status. Ever since, victorious armies and leaders chant her name in prayer, feeding her power and might across all of Calcaria.
There is no established church of Morrigan, however she is nevertheless revered by militaries and even lesser civilian organisations that rely on charity, which she claims as her dominion as well. To follow Morrigan is to believe in pure victory, without gloating or boasting but instead securing ones lands and realms to bring forth relief among a stricken population. The Festival of Candles is dedicated to her as well as the victorious dead; those who died to protect their homes and kin. Other than that, it is also encouraged to donate gold or food to orphanages and boarding houses throughout the realm on that holy day, with many generals and military leaders partaking in such offerings to please the goddess of victory.
Morrigan does not have her own realm, but resides within Sanctum when she is not commanding the Celestial Host.
