The mysterious light domain cleric Mireme joins the party at the sanctuary of the Pater-Bear after they return from Sergeant Nix's cottage.
With the aid of Gaya, The Party clear the goblins out from the Mountain's Throat, killing a particularly nasty musket wielding albino goblin called Gnarish who appeared to be part of a cult of some kind. A letter found on his person indicated that Stelvan Rapidmore, the merchant in Leviva was also a part of this cult. The goblin tribe was utterly crushed, their leader being thrown from a high cliff by an angry, formerly caged, Girallon.
The soul of Dark Chief Rikke, now inhabiting the body of former member of the Party, Bardain, ambushes the Party on the road back to Leviva with a few undead henchmen. The fight is short and brutal, and the Party catch up to Rikke before he can escape in Bardain's body, defeating him again.
Brok-Bjorn, the Orc Blood Hunter, met his untimely end at the six hands of Nime, the Lesser Marilith.
Following the letter from Gnarish the goblin, the Party go to confront Stelvan, hoping for a quiet chat. Unfortunately, things go south when Cruthers the gnome rumbles them, and a deadly fight ensues. Cruthers managed to escape after unleashing a Fire Elemental on the Party, and Nime, the half-orc warrior showed her true colours, transforming into a lesser marilith. Unfortunately, Stelvan threw himself from one of Leviva's balconies and died on the floor below. Nime was killed, but at the cost of the life of Brok-Bjorn, the Orc Blood Hunter. The situation wasn't a total loss, however, as the Party managed to find a number of letters pertaining to cult activity in Stelvan's study.
Kimabtuul Torrin, a Dragonborn wizard with a penchant for swordplay and a flair for the dramatic, agrees to help The Party with their future tasks, hoping some of their future goals would align with his own.
The Party suffered a shift in time for unknown reasons while travelling to Bid Gab'lanz. They are not sure what happened during this time, but they awoke with lots of treasure and a few scars. Levi in particular was missing her entire hand, and had developed a morbid fear of straw. Some vague memories seem to remain, but The Party may never truly remember what happened during that time.
The Party explore the ruins of Bid Gab'lanz, finding a long dormant research outpost of the Karak Hindar Primacy below it. Exploring the research outpost, The Party come across a number of strange artifacts and ancient knowledge. Things go awry on the second day when they get into a near deadly tussle with some of the outpost's long dormant defense mechanisms, but Straadmere pulls out a a huge risky hail mary by putting two bags of holding together and transporting them to the Astral Sea. They were saved by Aic'thaarrxa, but at the cost of her deepened imprisonment. The Party escaped with lots of loot, including the Flaming Ruby they had gone in for, and a mysterious pyramid known as the Treasury of Kosmas The Arcanite.
Having returned to the Twisted Bell Tavern to find that Leviva had been overrun by a religious order known as The Order of The Twilight Knights. Before heading in to save miner's trapped in the Pit, The Party decided to look inside the door of the Treasury of Kosmas the Arcanite they had a key for. This proved to be a mistake as they were transported to a lightless forest full of spiders and had to fight hard to escape.
In a hard fought battle, the Party defeat the first of the corrupted aspects of the Ever-Wyrm, a huge skeletal serpent that harassed them with acid, heavy attacks, and skeleton minions. The event was not without loss, however, as Gaya, the party's staunch ally, gave her life so the aspect would be truly defeated. The whole event left the party touched too, as Straadmere emerged a very different man, and Levi fell swiftly ill. However, the party did manage to find and save Kira, another ally of theirs, and gain information from the Ever-Wyrm on how to save the town of Leviva.
The party ascended via a secret stair to the very top of Leviva Plateau, where they were to begin a ritual that would cleanse the town of the Order of the Twilight Knights. However, they found the town in chaos, in fighting having seemed to have broken out between the Order, and Dark Chief Rikke, who had initially been helping them. The party ended up caught in the midst of a three way fight, with knights on one side, and Rikke's troops on the other. Things became more complex still when the wizard Cruthers, a known member of the Cult of the Seven-Headed Dragon, appeared, and summoned an earth elemental to help him. The party held fast and, as Straadmere completed the ritual, managed to kill their old foes Rikke and Cruthers, with the Ever-Wyrm momentarily possessing Straadmere to ensure that Rikke's soul did not escape again. The ritual was finished, and a huge portal opened atop Leviva, out of which began to pour a raging torrent of acid.
The ritual enacted by the party caused Leviva to become awash with acid. As they fled just ahead of the wave of destruction, it crumbled both rock and building, collapsing the Leviva Plateau and Leviva itself. The town and Plateau are gone, replaced by steaming pools of black acid among scrubby, barren ground. The party did not get away freely either. Morthran was forced to blow off his right leg above the knee to save his own life, and Straadmere was caught in the acid at the last moment, unfortunately perishing.
Alma, a warrior from another temple of the Ever-Wyrm, apparently also attacked by the Order of The Twilight Knights, had come to Leviva to find aid, but arrived a day late. Searching the acid pools left behind in the destruction she was found by the party who, begrudgingly in some cases, allowed her to join them as she searched for other ways to help her home.
The Gelding Flyer, an Airship privately owned and operated by the royal family of Gelding Wood, is destroyed by a mysterious dragon as it attempts to cross the shattered spine mountains in Torfe. It crashes into a ravine claimed by an ogre clan, led by a particularly nasty hill giant. M.E.T.A.L happened to be close at hand and moved in to rescue the few survivors. These comprised of two Royal Knights of Gelding Wood, Ser Diana of Sallowfields, and Badric of Foye, as well as Prince Luciano of Gelding Wood, the brother of M.E.T.A.L's own Esme.
M.E.T.A.L, with the two Royal Knights and a comatose Prince Luciano in tow, travelled on the Deepbore Pass, a railway created by the Legion of Progress, below the Shattered Spine Mountains. Along the way they met an ancient Amethyst Dragon, Adar - Lord of The Tunnels, with whom they talked and sold him some magical weapons and armour. Not long before the end of their journey, a poorly maintained part of the monorail track collapsed, causing a cave in. The Car was destroyed and the Legion driver, Horton, was killed. The group finsihed the journey on foot.

Morthran, while checking up on a researcher asked to look at the Flaming Ruby, realises that she is missing. M.E.T.A.L come together and discover that she was killed weeks ago and replaced by a shapeshifter of some kind that appeared to be able to bypass the Legion's complex detection systems. The Flaming Ruby has been stolen!
M.E.T.A.L, faced with a choice of directions ahead of them, decide that trying to bring a quick end to the civil war brewing in Gelding Wood is the best option right now. They take a fast type of Airship known as a Night Skimmer, to the port city of Green Port, where the last neutral noble, Count Francis, greets them, telling them that, for the safety of his people, he now has no choice but to pick a side, and asks them to help him choose.
