Bid Gab'lanz
An ancient dwarven ruin, long since stripped of any value.
Purpose / Function
Most archaeologists assume that Bid Gab'lanz was the home of a small dwarven clan that relied on mining to survive.
Alterations
Since it's rediscovery, a number of the rooms of the upper tier have been excavated and the ceilings removed, leaving them open to the elements. A number of doorways have also been made through walls when no doorway was accessible.
Architecture
The ancient hold is made in a typical, ancient dwarven style, with many of the rooms being carved directly from the rock itself. The rock is carved to look like cut stonework, to allow it to blend seamlessly with areas where cut stonework had to be installed. Much of the decoration on the wall is dedicated to Taris, the blind dwarf and god of law.
History
First excavated during the early forays into the land now known as Torfe, Bid Gab'lanz was stripped of all it's objects of worth centuries ago, and now sits empty.
