A product of blood magic , Aasimar are rarely seen in Cabochon. Angels of the High Heavens are known for their non-interventionalist tendencies taking exception with overt fiendish presence. Thus, cabochoni aasimar tend to have celestial heritage, are product of sworn blood pacts during war, or are completely extraplanar in origin.
Appearing multicolored with illuminated eyes, most aasimar and other types of planetouched pass themselves off as tieflings for no other reason than to allay confusion over their origins. If strongly connected with their angelic host, aasimar may instead adopt an 'angelic glamour' appearing like those that behold them. Aasimar are often mistaken for being immortal or actual angels of the High Heavens. Indeed, many aasimar possess the ability to sprout ethereal wings from their backs. Enterprising individuals use this misconception to their advantage often poising themselves as spiritual guides or divine heroes. As the Scorch has returned to Cabochon, it is said the many aasimar of the world feel a subtle compulsion to intervene.
