Cormorant Legion
The Cormorant Legion is one of the Brethren fleets of the Black Sails Brethren under the command of Legate Remy Trident Hand.
Structure
The Cormorant Legion is the most organized of the fleets within the Brethren. Under the the command of the legate are a group of lieutenants who command a flotilla of five or less ships.

I. All follow the orders of their superior.
II. All Legionnaires are to be equipped at all times while on duty, and never be more than five yards from their weapons and armor during times of rest, or they are to suffer 10 lashes.
III. Any Legionnaire who disobeys orders is punished by not more than 50 but not less than 10 lashes, as well as one half rations, except in cases of repeat violation whereby the superior can do as they see fit.
IV. Any officer found in dereliction of their duty is to suffer not less than 20 lashes and in cases of severity to be temporarily assigned to lower duties or cashiered.
V. Anyone who is discovered to be asleep while at watch shall suffer execution or be marooned.
VI. All legionnaires are to be properly paid their wages first out of prizes, with the excess being divided between the officers and with 5 shares being set aside for their superior.
VII. In cases of an entire crew being found guilty of cowardice or failure to fulfill duties without outstanding circumstances, the superior officer may order the crew to be decimated.
VIII. The payment for a legionnaire with less than one year of service to be 15 copper pieces per day.
IX. The payment for a legionnaire with one year of service to be 7 silver pieces per day.
X. The payment for a legionnaire with five years of service to be 2 gold piece per day.
XI. The payment for a legionnaire with 10 years of service to be 5 gold pieces per day.
XII. The payment for a ship’s captain is to be five shares of the officer’s share, not more than 200 gold pieces per prize.
XIII. The payment for a ship’s quartermaster is five shares of the officer’s share, not more than 175 gold pieces per prize.
XIV. The payment for a ship’s navigator, boatswain, and artillerist are to receive four shares of the officer’s share, not more than 150 gold pieces per prize.
XV. The payment for the carpenter, mates, and other officers is to be one share of the officer’s share, not more than 50 gold pieces per prize.
