Grand Empress Terraxia Augusta Primus (a.k.a. Grand Empress)
The first and last empress of The Grand Terraxian Imperium. She had the single greatest and longest influence of any other individual who ever lived. She is remembered for almost single-handedly uniting the Terraxian city-states and for leading the empire she formed for 30 years. While she died at the age of 80 in 30 ATU, it is believed that her soul lives on through each and every Terraxian emperor, or the Terraxia Primus. Her family would go on to rule for 7 more generations and over 130 years before Gaecillion I would die without an heir at age 12, causing an event known as The National Schism.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Terraxia was seen as relatively strong and quite attractive. She was the kind of woman that Terraxians would respect and not drool over, but would instead listen to her.
Facial Features
Terraxia had a pointed face due to not being a fighter and having spent most of her career in offices, even being to busy to personally fight in The First Terrax-Myraxx War. While her scales were dominantly yellow, her face held mainly orange scales with some yellow and purple ones around as well.
Identifying Characteristics
- Her scale patterns identify her as part of house Primus, one of the oldest Terraxian family houses
- Her dominant scale colour is red, identifying her as originating from the desert region of Desertia Isor
- Her black-tipped fins are common among her house and as such solidiy the unknowing into believing she is from Desertia
Mental characteristics
Education
Terraxia was educated by a private tutor in her family's manor growing up and so mainly learnt topics she was interested in. This included military strategy, politics and history as well as some nature topics such as how to raise Garriss.
Employment
After her education, Terraxia became the Governor of Desertia, her home city located in Desertia Isor. She later was chosen to become the first Grand Empress of Terraxia as she was seen as the most deserving of the role.
Accomplishments & Achievements
During the Great Tragedy, Terraxia was called to Terranon, as she was a Governor, to help unify the Terraxian states. She proved instrumental in the creation of The Grand Terraxian Imperium and in unifying all of the Terraxian states into it. This earned her the title of Grand Empress. It was in her time as Grand Empress that the Myraxx were kicked out of The Grand Terraxian Imperium, allowing them to regain control over the Ura Lush, but she is remembered less for her military achievements, and more for her achievements as Grand Empress, establishing everything from infrastructure to education to healthcare and security.

Her failure to end The First Terrax-Myraxx War with a full Terraxian victory is a failure she refused to forget.
Mental Trauma
The loss of her son Betax Primus was a loss she was never able to overcome and due to her love dying with him, her daughter Betaxa Primus never received much love or praise, often considering her mother to be cold and distant but loving her all the same, since she was still her mother.

She is seen as one of the smartest Terraxians to have ever lived, having almost single-handedly established The Grand Terraxian Imperium.
Taboos
After learning about the historical period in Terraxian history known as The Warring States Period (History of Terrax), Terraxia reinforced the Terraxian ideal against the thought of causing harm to another Terraxian for any reason. This effectively banned Terraxion on Terraxion physical fighting, though many arguments reached close to turning physical not 200 years after this ban was initiated.

She always hoped that one day the Terraxians would shine as a beacon of what a good nation should be, though it was a little misguided as she seeked to do this in a way that led later rulers to attempt to do this through war.

Terraxia's main flaw was that she was mildly xenophobic, meaning she didn't like other species. While she never enacted any policies making The Grand Terraxian Imperium a xenophobic state, her actions such as the continuation of The First Terrax-Myraxx War and certain political debates proved her to be xenophobic, leading to a later Terraxia Primus merging xenophobia into the Terraxian psyche.

Contacts & Relations
When Terraxia was a Lady of Desertia, she made contact with many lords and ladies (and even Governors) of other city-states. This led to her having good relations with them even before becoming a governor herself. Because of this, when the time came to unite, Terraxia was assured a major role as she knew many of the other Terraxians also called to the conference, and when it came time to vote Terraxia's ideas almost always passed.
