Desertia (C)

Structure

Terraxian city-states were each led by a Governor. This governor was in charge of the city and was seen as head of a sort of royal household. Below them were the lords and ladies of the city which acted as district leaders, one leading the economic district, one leading the agricultural district and so on. Then it would go down to a council made mostly of the lords and ladies but also held representatives from the common populace, this being aptly named the Council of Representatives. Below them would then be the military and below that the common populace.

Culture

As the main desert city, Desertia's culture was based on the desert environment it was built in. Desertians were used to the hot and expected low water and food. They would always speak their minds as you could die the next day just as easily as you might not.

History

Desertia was one of the first Terraxian cities to be founded and acts as one of it's most influential. During The 200 Year War Desertia led one of the three sides in the fight for supremacy. During unification, Desertia was the most influential state under the leadership of Grand Empress Terraxia Primus, then the Governor of Desertia
