Castle Ravenloft
Castle Ravenloft is a huge baroque castle, built by Clan Brittlestone for Strahd von Zarovich. Intended to be the new seat for the entire Kingdom of Zarossia, Castle Ravenloft was outfitted with the finest furnishings, and built to be a truly massive defensible structure.
Name Origins
Castle Ravenloft is named after Strahd von Zarovich's mother — Queen Ravenovia von Roeyen — whom Strahd hoped would retire there. Without the insidious nature of his father — King Barov von Zarovich — Strahd hoped Raveloft would prove to lighten his mother's spirits, making her finally love him.Architecture
