Tser Pools
The Tser Pools are a collection of ponds fed by the River Ivlis in the Ravenloft Moors, that serve as a common camping spot for Vistani travellers. Most notably, the Vistani elder Madam Eva has a permanent campsite on the southern bank of the largest pool.
The Tser Pools — so named for the strange way the blue water appears to reflect the sky as if it were daytime, regardless of the true heavens above — have long featured in Barovian and Vistani folklore as a place of healing, insight, and prophecy. Believed to be blessed in all manner of ways, the Tser Pools have long been a site of pilgrimmage for those seeking answers to their woes.
The Tser Pools also feature a small ring of standing stones, the largest of which — covered over with stylised leaves — exudes foul energy and appears to bleed from the cracks riven into it. The Vistani who stay here tend to shun this stone, and have draped over it a shroud.
