Madam Eva is a Vistani Human who lives in her camp along the Tser Pools. She is the oldest known Vistana living in the County of Barovia, and as such is afforded great respect among her people, who see her as a pseudo-cultural guide. She is believed to be capable of the most accurate Tarokka readings among any Vistani, as well.
No one is quite sure how old Madam Eva is, with the oldest other Vistani besides her remembering her as being old even when they were children.
Madam Eva is wall-eyed, and incapable of looking straight ahead of herself. For this reason, she requires the assistance of others to perform many duties, though this affliction appears to have no effect upon her fortune telling. Most often this is Alexei d'Lira.
