The Claret Concord
The Claret Concord is a special, highly trained military body within the heirarchy of the Renelestran Church Universalis. It reports directly to the Pontificum Ecclesium, and its primary goal is to suss out corruption and heresy within the church itself. In essence, it is both an internal investigative organisation for the church as a whole, and it is a means to carry out judgement against those who have been found through trial to be heretical or guilty of crimes ill befitting of a member of the church. They have been known to get involved in external affairs from time to time, including actions which could be construed as politically advantages for the interests of the church, though officially any external involvement on the part of the Claret Concord is flatly denied. Nevertheless, it must be said that for a primarily investigative organisation, the Concord is without question well equipped, highly specialized, and trained to handle operations of a more "military" nature than their official stance would suggest.
Their Coat of Arms is "Hands Clasping on a Claret (deep red) Field with a Black Fess.
