Valcoast
Valcoast is the district to the east of Center Island in New Hudson City. It makes up New Hudson City’s tech enclave and has been one of the most attractive places to work for tech on the east coast. Several areas are highly concentrated with clubs, restaurants, and other entertainment. Other areas are residential, with varying qualities of buildings. Mixed among all of this are small to medium office towers.
Your crew lives here and will likely find a lot of work here. While there is a moderate police presence, they are willing to allow Interconex contractors some extra leeway so long as it doesn’t bother their corporate masters.

Demographics
A mix of service workers on the outskirts that serve the middle class tech workers and other corps concentrated closer to the center of New Hudson city. If an ethnic minority exists, it probably has a member somewhere in Valcoast.
Defences
Argus Munipical Outreach officers maintain a fairly heavy prescence here, especially in the wealthier areas. Expect to be stopped and frisked.
Industry & Trade
Mostly offices. There are the usual businesses supporting a heavy urban area and some areas are heavily slanted toward tourism and entertainment as one gets closer to Center Island.
Infrastructure
Well kept, mostly. One couldn’t expect every road not to have potholes. The bridges are probably safe, would they let millions of people use them if they weren’t?
History
Highly gentrified 10 to 20 years before the events of Bad Future, this district is now mostly made up of the petite bourgeois and their kids who spend most of their time at artisanal delis, coffee shops, and slaving away at tech companies.
Architecture
A mix of old and new. Older parts are a clash of old brick buildings with smatterings of new MetOS tech.
Geography
A river to the east, a bay to the south east. City on all other sides. Central Island is across the river.
