Light Pantheon
The Light Pantheon is the name for the group of mostly good-aligned deities, both Nesmi and Deirid, in the world of Ayndrinor. It includes three members of The Four. Most members of the Light Pantheon are children of The Four, and a few who are children of those children. The pantheon also includes the likes of Toldrun, whose reputation is complex and generally viewed as negative.
Mythology & Lore
The Light Pantheon was born with the first of the Deirid, widely believed to be Olmytria. Since then, the four Nisme have produced several other offspring, and three pairs of these Deirid have produced children of their own. According to several different sources who claim to have had conversations with the gods, the method of creating divine offspring is not a physical or sexual experience like procreating is for humanoids; the deities involved offer up a small portion of their divine essence to each other and when combined these essences create a new deity. There is some speculation and uncertainty whether this newly born deity is "adult" or infant upon creation, but either way the Deirid are known to age quite quickly into adulthood when they take up their divine portfolios.
Priesthood
There is no dedicated priesthood for the Light Pantheon. Each of the deities has their own priesthood, and the majority of people in the world pray to The Four.
