Raven's Cross

Arriving in Raven's Cross by teleporter, there is a roof over the device some 20' high. You arrive on the border of the warehouse district and city central. It is like looking at two worlds across from each other. The central city is cleaner and more modern even the people look happier. While the warehouse district is worn and gritty.

Not clerics in this town to any good god.

Government

This city is in political turmoil. There are several characters that have shown up trying to instigate an insurrection. They have infiltrated several areas of government and Asavar is trying to root them out. The common folk are just trying to stay out of the way, but people have gone missing in the NW part of the city. So some people are starting to care.

Defences

The city has an army of 639 and a city watch of 113. Asavar keeps 38 specialists ready to deal with problems.

Industry & Trade

The city has quite the mining industry that supports its mining in the Kal Hills. It also has a its logging industry that works with the druid of Silver Forest for the wood of there.

Infrastructure

The city had a shortage of horses, so it opened a Horse center to attract traders from around the land. It worked and now there are stables and breeders trading and showing horses. There is now a small equestrian exposition every year now. Dog Racing is quite popular her and they race a few other animals at the racetrack on occasion. They have a reliable source of water and it is mostly underground.

Assets

Besides its many mining resources, the city has is one of the only sources of Silvermoor Olivewood.

Tourism

There is a small shrine of Mysteria with a tall statue of her on the north side of the city, in a moderately sized garden around it. Many come to see the shrine. Many marvel at the lifelike expression on the face of the goddess. A look of wonder and sorrow. Some say when the moonlight hits her just right the statue comes alive and grants a blessing on all who are there. Every year the town has a cherry blossom festival as well. This happens in the last Saturday in April.

Architecture

Homes are made for the various local wood, and adorned with copper flashing. Some of the more expensive houses have quartz or granite floors.

Raven Maple, Silvermoor Mahogany and Silvermoor Walnut are all harvested from the Silver Forest.
