Daegavore Battalion (B7379)

Named after the great snake/centipede-like Daegavores of Sauria, the Daegavore Battalion has gained renown for their historic acts of heroism throughout the years (such as The Stand at Kaniggach). On more than one occasion the battalion has been almost wiped out entirely, only a few original members still remaining, but each time they have managed to endure. The battalion is recruited entirely from Sauria, hence their namesake being an animal native only to the planet. They have also been used for non strictly war operations, such as when they were deployed to investigate the anomaly at Tarbora that eventually led to the Gunfight at Bladepoint with in turn sparked the Third Saurian-Walren War. Some called for the disbandment of the battalion after the controversy surrounding the event, but the unit was exonerated in the end, clearing their name.
