Skywheel Forest

The Skywheel Forest, also known as the Windy Forest, is the largest forest on Aufyra. Many diverse plants and creatures live here, their evolution shaped by wind magic. The most notable are the towering Skywheel trees that the forest is named for. As the skywheels spread out over time, maps are adjusted to reflect the new border of the forest.
The Windy Forest also hosts several types of floating, puff-like plants and flowers. Neighboring villages harvest these plants, and professionals use the floating puffs and bulbs for air transportation. The Lost Island is off the shore of the Forest, and Forest plants are one common method of transportation to its surface.

Localized Phenomena

The ether current connected to the planet's water & weather cycles manifests here as an endless, rustling breeze.

Fauna & Flora

Kite serpents sit at the top of the Forest food chain. They are huge feathered serpents that flutter like kites when they soar.
