Ned

Eldron (a.k.a. Alexander Sureshot)

A skilled half-elven archer, Ned has a long history. He was born to an elven mother and human father near Valeryos. After his mother shortly died, Ned's uncle raised him and named the young half-elf Eldron to give him a fitting elven name. Years later, Eldron and his uncle were attacked by drow. Eldron killed the drow attacker with a magical arrow but accidentally shot his uncle as well. His dying uncle forgave the young half-elf and gave him the insignia of the Emerald Guardians, whom his uncle belonged to. However, for killing an elf, Eldron was banished from Airathul Forest.   Eldron renamed himself Alexander Sureshot and joined the Marishian military and becomes a legendary sniper over the course of many years. Eventually the military starts giving him more dangerous off the book jobs: assassinations. His last mission was to assassinate the king of Thamar, King Ordane I. Alexander was successful in the kill but the manhunt that followed forced him to run far away. Renaming himself Ned, the older half-elf wandered Xorik for many years from the Green Sea to helping the Strakelgar dwarves during the Shadow Wars. Ned earned the friendship of dwarven Clan Leader Elderbeard and became a hero amongst the Strakelgar dwarves.   After the war is over, Elderbeard asks Ned and Morden Titanstone to join the newly formed Dawn Alliance. Although some members suspected Ned to be "Alexander Sureshot", the dwarves adamantly defended Ned. However, Ned thought it best to avoid the spotlight and let Morden be Strakelgar's main representative at the alliance while Ned helped in whatever way he could. Eventually, the Dawn Alliance asked Ned to join the Maelstrom to keep tabs on the powerful adventurers.   During his time on the Maelstrom, Ned helped broker peace between the Pirates of the Vast Sea and Dawn Alliance. Later, him and other heroes defeated the terrible Desert Tyrant and saved Valyeros from Kabar's evil influence. For saving the elven queen, Ned's banishment was ended. However, during the heroes' efforts to stop the rift between dimensions, the Demon Lord Zoul, the Corruptor banished Ned and his allies to the Dark Reality.

Dark Reality

In the Dark Reality, the original Maelstrom Heroes failed to stop Luther/Zoul and instead the demon lord corrupted them just as he had corrupted Luther. The fate of this reality's Ned is unknown although Darius hinted at Ned's death long ago.
